dalepod: So I accidentally unfollowed you while scrolling through the page of blogs that I follow, sorry! And also, I forgot how much I like your blog; trippy, interesting and strangely relaxing. Hope you're having a good day and all is well! :)

3llsw0rth: That's cool but it's not *quite* what I meant... I meant the question in a non-personal way. Do you think pot allows people to tune in to higher and more subtle layers of reality? I read an interview once with the lead singer of Ween... he said that he loved pot because a room full of people can get high, and then have a conversation without saying a word. I love that.

Ah, I see. That’s pretty true, but it’s true with a lot. Shrooms especially, I think. The relationships between people are funny. Energy is funny. That’s one thing I can say solidly, drugs (though I prefer the “natural” ones) definitely effect relationships between people and the way we perceive energy. But also, I’ve known many people where our energy is just right ad those conversations without words happen with no drugs at all. So, I don’t know it that helps either, that’s just kind of were my train of thoughts went.

Also, I fucking love Ween.

3llsw0rth: What's your theory on the connection between pot and spirituality?

I’ve been a big pot smoker for quite a while. I think that maybe it enhances my interest in spirituality, some, but I think Id probably still be as spiritual as I am now. I think spirituality is dependent upon the individual. Everyone is different. I’m sure there are many people whose spirituality would be more greatly impacted by weed, both positively and negatively. People handle weed and spirituality extremely different from one another. But like I said, personally I believe it does have a positive impact on me, but it’s kind of minor.
